A little tip: Make sure you have your business cards so that you can exchange contact information with others. Who knows, you may meet your future colleagues!

We suggest an innovative process for you: in one week, five workshops alternating with periods of practical activities led and supervised by an employment counsellor. At the end of the process, you will finally be prepared to obtain the job of your dreams!

These informal and friendly meetings will allow you to share essential topics, such as self-confidence, work values and job know-how. A fine opportunity to talk to other job seekers!


The Carrefour offers conferences on various topics, given by specialists in their fields. Whether it be communications, wage negotiations or the hiring system as seen by a recruiter, these conferences are a must in making your job search a success.

Supported by its employers’ network, the CJE offers a wide range of possibilities to meet employers. Lightening interviews, visits to companies, advice from representatives of the human resources of companies which are recruiting: opportunities that cannot be missed!

The Focus program may be the solution!

This unique program is designed to help young people from 18 to 29 years of age to develop their social, professional and economic independence.

With the support of a youth worker, you will be accompanied in finding a career project that excites you as well as overcoming your difficulties and attaining your objectives, whether they involve returning to school or seeking an employment. Sports, cultural and leisure activities will also allow you to explore your interests and aptitudes, to help you make an even better informed choice.

In short, a highly personalized program to give you a new start!


The Carrefour offers employment training positions to facilitate your contact with the labour market:

En route to my career (professional exploration)

These summer positions for youth from 16 to 20 years of age, created individually for each participant, represent the first experience in your future field of work. A flexible formula that will allow you to explore your professional interests during the summer, as part of work experience with an allowance. (insect video)

Skill development training position

Do you have little or no work experience?
Are you having difficulties or has your life experience been off the beaten track?

These short term training positions with a financial allowance will allow you to make or renew your contact with the labour market, at your own pace, with the support of the CJE intervention team.

Nouvelle Garde

This project carried out with the support of the Conseil des arts de Montréal and the FTQ Fond de solidarité, offers young artists and cultural workers, who have recently graduated, a bridge to the labour market in their sector. In addition to training in employability and entrepreneurship adapted to the arts sector, young participants have an opportunity to carry out a remunerated training position for 3 to 6 months with an employer in the sector.
